Take proper care of your skin in the first place

No matter what people may say, the fact is that no makeup product can help you if you don’t take proper care of your skin. So, if you still haven’t established your skincare routine, it’s about time you did it! The first product you should get is a cleanser which will remove all the dirt, oil, and makeup residue from your face and unclog your pores that way. Ladies with oily skin should pick an oil-free cleanser, whereas those with skin prone to acne should look for a product with salicylic acid. On the other hand, cream cleansers are a great choice for women with dry skin. Apart from a cleanser, you should also use a scrub two to three times a week, as it will remove the dead skin cells and help your skin appear rejuvenated and refreshed. Moisturizer is another must since it will replenish the lost moisture and hydrate your skin, which is crucial for a healthy and luminous skin that always looks and feels smooth.

A Foundation shade that flawlessly matches your skin tone matters a lot

Speaking of natural makeup, it can be described as a no-makeup makeup look which enhances your facial features by covering some minor flaws and emphasizing the good parts. A spotless complexion is exactly what characterizes this look, and this means that you should pay extra attention to the foundation shade you’re about to pick. Finding your match can be a bit tricky, and you should remember that swiping shades along your jawline is what counts – and not along the back of your hand, which is what the majority of ladies do. This should be done because it’s likely that your neck is a bit paler than your face, and the right hue will flawlessly melt into the skin and disappear into it. You can also get color-matched by a makeup artist if there’s such an option, which is always a great idea as you can get some free samples, too. So, once you find the perfect foundation shade, you can proceed with your natural makeup look and feel confident about it.

Nail the rest of your natural look like a true pro…

When your foundation is all set, the next step is doing your brows, as these are one of the most important facial features that actually give your face a beautiful frame – if groomed properly, of course. The first thing you should do is give them a trim, but if you’re afraid to give them a too-close crop, just brush the hairs up with a spoolie and trim one long hair at a time. Since plucking can irritate your skin a little bit, you should massage your favorite facial oil onto the brow bone, which will prevent your skin from getting too sensitive. If you still have some sparse spots after trimming and plucking, just take a brow pencil that matches their natural color and fill them in. Then comb through with a clear brow gel and voila – your brows are all done! Adding a touch of highlighter to your cheekbones, brow bone, and bridge of the nose is another must, as it will give your face a subtle glow that significantly contributes to a natural look. Once that’s done, just add a touch of matte bronzer to warm up your complexion, one coat of black mascara, and your favorite lip gloss for fabulous sparkling lips, and you’re good to go!

As you can see, being confident isn’t about applying tons of makeup to your face on a daily basis, as you can get it done in just a few simple steps that guarantee you a flawless natural look you can be proud of. All you should do is to stick to our beauty tips and tricks, and you’ll instantly see a fantastic improvement everyone else will notice, too!
